It's been a year!!

Facebook Post - Wowow it's been a year As I've been reflecting over the past year I feel like there have been few things I've been able to learn; how to be a little more patient, how deliberate faith with diligent action leads to revealed miracles, about the everlasting and true atonement of Him who prepared us, the application of the plan of redeeming happiness, how to listen, striving to love unconditionally, a little spanish, the importance of our eternal identity, and how we can be like Enoch, continually walking and talking with the Lord. I'm not sure what this next chapter of my mission entails but if it's anything like the first, I couldn't be more excited.  Che royhaihu Dallas y Paraguay <33 8-23-21   Hello all,  I hope everybody has had a great summer and is enjoying the return back to school/work as well as getting ready for the fall, which, in my opinion is the best time in Utah.  It's been a few weeks since I've sent a weekly out so I have...

Que tal todos!  Pretty good week down here in Luque, we got a new companion with us for a couple days while he's waiting for his new companion and being in a trio has been incredibly fun, some of the most fun I've had on my mission thus far.  The work is going great as well, we're working super hard and trying loads of new ways to find new people, being the example in the companionship is something new to me so I feel a little more pressure on responsibility in the area but luckily things just keep working out and we're having a good time doing it. Diligence + the spirit = success.  Lately I've been focusing a lot on my personal testimony and questions that I've always had, as I've been able to ponder and ask these questions I've been able to gain a stronger relationship with our Heavenly Father. It's important to have questions as a member of the church and it's equally as important being able to find answers to these questions. So my invitati...

Whats new gamers This week was a pretty solid one, we've been keeping the finding up, now we just need some of these people to start progressing and we're really gonna be in business. We do have a pretty solid lineup though so I'm really excited for this next little while to see where it all goes.  The past tuesday was in fact my birthday and it was an incredible day! A member threw a party where we ate a paraguayan version of spaghetti and played lots of uno and ate some epic burgers, no other way I'd rather spend it. A big thanks and love goes out to all who wished me a happy day, it surely was appreciated. :)) As for high notes this week; we had a guy ask for my companions coke and then chased us after we said no, played some good volleyball, basketball and currently am 2nd place in the uno standings. We also had a picnic where funeral potatoes and mashed potatoes were served, so I'd count myself a lucky man.  I have just hit 11 months in my mission as of today...

7-19-21 Hola a todos!! I decided I should put more effort into my email this week instead of a sole, "I'm still alive and doing well" update. So pls enjoy We were able to find 3 new people this week and 2 of them are a married couple named the Arellano family, who are super sweet. We had one of the coolest lessons I've had so far on my mission with them; we ended up teaching the restoration and the spirit was literally radiating, it was undeniable. My comp, who is still new to Spanish, bore his testimony and there's something about new guys bearing their testimonies that makes it super incredible. We left that lesson on cloud 9 and we're super excited to see where they go. This is probably the first update I've given on any investigator since my first week in the mission and it feels kinda weird, usually I just talk about the crazy things.  I've been really loving my mission lately, every aspect of it has been great to me. Surely there are days that a...
