3/22 Hau'pei a todos! Somewhat of a busy week down here in the middle of nowhere. There were some moments that were pretty crazy so I'll just get right to the point and hit some highlights, here's what I got; we cleaned out a very moldy refrigerator, thought we had a gas leak and that we were going to die but I fixed it and we're still alive, taxi driver gave us some free torta, chased by too many dogs, almost got robbed but then they saw I was a tall white guy and they changed their minds & we also had a baptism! (Lovely day :))   Alright about the ghost. Yesterday we were at a lunch with a member and we got on the topic of ghosts so our member started telling her experiences with ghosts, she continued to tell us a story about this one time when she had an egg on the table and she turned around to go do something real quick, when she turned back around it was an onion. Keep in mind she is being dead serious while telling us this and I'm trying to hold back my...

This week we worked hard, and it felt great. After a week that felt slow and useless, I prayed to god to make us work harder than ever before and sure enough, it worked. We didn't have any cancellations, had at least 2 lessons everyday, walked around 65 kilometers and also put one of our dear friends on baptismal date which I'm extremely excited about.  This week also was full of some crazy experiences, living in a 3rd world country will throw the most random stuff your way everyday, and you just have to get used to it haha, & here's what I got; we walked through a road barefoot that turned into a river for about a mile, I picked an avocado off a tree, I boxed my companion at a members house who set up a boxing ring (I won, got that reach), my comp got some unlucky digestion and had to book it into a field for an emergency and I also cut a fresh pineapple, W. We also focused a lot on strengthening our members this week and I absolutely love them, everybody lives so hu...

This week was simultaneously the fastest and longest week on my mission, after a few weeks of really progressing in our area it felt like God humbled us a little bit; We had a baptism fall through and had about 2 or 3 lessons cancel on us everyday this week. Among these tough days I was able to keep a good attitude about the work, when it seems as if nothing is going our way the only thing we can have control over is our attitude and how we react to situations that come. So, that's what I did and it couldve been a lot worse.  Here's a few of the moments from this week that I don't plan on forgetting anytime soon; somebody screaming at me in broken English saying, "where's your daddy?? I'm your daddy", ate the meat of an animal I didn't recognize and still trying to figure out (possibly squirrel or exotic fish), saw plenty of paraguayan's lighting their trash on fire, got cat-called (a little flattered) and also hit my head on about 4-5 doors becaus...
