Tornado Survivor
This week was a very interesting week, we had so many awesome moments and some that have been the hardest to tackle as a missionary.
To start off though, the ghost. The ghost was pretty active this week but again, some pretty funny instances; I think that it just wants to supply content to my emails and it's working.
This week included the following: stepped in a puddle (cleaned off the smoothie on my shoe so was this actually epic), phone fell on my face at 2 am, 1000 bike problems, naked people in south dallas, Hales crashed, too many cancellations, McDonald's skimped me on my fries, landlords daughter might be a witch (?). It was a pretty good week for the good ole' ghost.
Tuesday night was crazy. Within a 30 minute span there was tornado siren, lightning storm, a flash flood warning and a guy asking us for weed. It felt like the end of the world here in Dallas but it was also the coolest thing to experience. Nevertheless, the tornado missed us, the floods didn't sweep us away and we gave the guy who wanted some weed a picture of Jesus so all ended up great!
Thanksgiving was pretty fun as well. My companion is so fire at cooking and made one of the best turkey's I've ever had in my life. We also were able to eat with a member and it was overall such a good day.
As to missionary work this week, it was strange. We had to drop a few people that were looking a little promising but we just had to leave them with good closing remarks and hope that they want to hear more in the future. We did find 3 new people in just an hour last night which is nothing short of a miracle.
I spent a lot of my time this week looking through deep doctrine in the book of Revelations and D&C. It's been so interesting and a lot of fun. All I can say is we are seriously in the last days and the gathering of israel is the most important thing you can be doing right now, I'm just lucky enough to be doing it everyday. I truly love being a missionary, It's great!
Also some lady also gave us a butt load of sports trading cards and I'm really hyped about it
I love hearing from all of you, and if you still haven't sent me your address, do so!
Con muchísimo amor,
Elder Fuell
