House Hunting - International

M'baíchepa

First of all, shoutout to my mom, it's her birthday! (everybody go wish my mom and happy birthday)

This week was a wild one here in the southern hemisphere

Here's a few highlights of the week I thought you might want to hear; I held a kitten, a chicken and also a baby guinea pig, got somebody on baptismal date (!!!), got asked if I was in the cartel, infestation of maggots, hit my head on a few doors and walked around 35 miles this week so my legs are starting to resemble those of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The biggest news this week is that my companion and I got kicked out of our house. With the influx of northern americans coming in, we had a companionship of hermanas travel on over and start taking over one of our two areas, I wasn't too upset about this at first but then I realized that we don't have a house to move

For the time being we've moved into an apartment with other elders and It's been 4 of us on tiny mattresses on the floor with cockroaches and other bugs coming when they please. We are also around 40 mins walking from our area but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't having a great time.

Being sweaty 24/7, having insects and animals crawl all over you and having intoxicated humans shout Guarani at you is something to get used to, but I'm getting used to it. Paraguay is a funny place and I already love it with all my heart.

Hope y'all had a fantastic week and aren't taking washers and dryers for granted :)
