Week 2

 Hello everybody!

Week two in the home MTC was even better than the first! We taught a lot of lessons in spanish and even talked to a few people from colombia and mexico! They were being paid by the Mexico MTC to act like non members so we could teach them in spanish. It can be pretty scary but it always ends up just fine and is always quite an experience. My companion Elder Ethington (Sethington) has a really bad connection a lot of the time so we usually have to plan for him to cut out at some point during the lesson, it can be tricky but it always keeps us prepared!

This week brought some new high's and some new low's. There are some days where I have no motivation to do anything and I want to vomit whenever I see any word in spanish. You don't have a companion next to you to help you to keep motivated so it makes it really important to be self reliant, which can be very difficult but as long as I accept my new life with faith and hope, I will be blessed.  Other than that I really can't complain about my experience thus far. My district is full of the most incredibly strong people and we always have a blast together. A lot of them have shared their life stories with me and some of the trials they have had to get through to even get on a mission makes all my little drama in high school seem like a fairy tale. The faith they all show is truly helping my testimony immensely.

A dear friend of mine invited me to take journaling a little more seriously while i'm on my mission and it's really helped a lot, especially with remembering what to write for this email. He also shared a really great talk by Elder Eyring about the importance of journaling that I think you should all read or listen to.

Other than that I can't say too much has happened, I've been able to go and play some basketball with some missionaries including some guys in my district for the past two weeks and it's been super fun and I'll include some pictures of us and other miscellaneous noteworthy moments from this week. I hope you're all doing great and enjoying your time! Don't be afraid to reach out because I love and miss hearing from everyone! Also I won in a spanish Kahoot game and I'm really proud of myself.

Con muchísimo amor,

Elder Fuell
