Henry & his chuletas de cerdo!

¡Mis amigos!

First and foremost, here are the updates on the ghost: our fire alarms have gone off twice, our heater shutting off, some random European chocolates found on our dinner table and no one was home to put them there (we were kinda hyped about this but the chocolates were nasty, still a thoughtful gift from the ghost though), 2 dog poop steps, car battery dying, and a missed bus which isn't entirely the ghosts fault but I'm blaming it nonetheless. Other than the ghost, this week was super great!

On friday I got the opportunity to give my first blessing to a member who is in a wheelchair. Him and his mom were so thankful and the spirit felt there was so strong. I was a little nervous about getting all the words right but I had faith and I know god did the rest.

Edgar, the pastor from Colombia we've been teaching has been a dream. We were able to teach him twice this week and he really grasped onto the book of mormon and loved the fact that it was based in the Americas. Everytime we have a lesson with him we can feel the spirit so so strongly and know that we didn't meet him just by accident. Divine intervention is real!!

Thanks to facebook we were also able to meet a lady who currently lives in Uganda named Okot. We taight her the first two lessons & she told us the missionaries gave her a book of mormon when she was a teenager but lost it and was super grateful when we told her about gospel library. She's the sweetest lady who says "Amen" and "Hallelujah" after almost anything you teach hahah.

I also decided I'm going to read all of Isaiah in the old testament. It's the most grueling and the hardest to understand but the bible is HUGE down here in dallas and there are churches around every corner so it's pretty important to know your bible. Everybody go read Isaiah 6, it's incredible

Our neighbor has a cat named henry who eats pork chops and we can hear her calling him back home to come eat dinner everyday hahaha it's so funny.

There are also a few other cats who we've named Mark Anthony (who paid us a visit yesterday) and lindito who is the cute one but we dont see him much because henry isn't a huge fan of lindito.

The mission is great and I love & miss hearing from each of you!! Have a blessed week!

Con muchísimo amor,

Elder Fuell
