I hate bed bugs!
heyo
This week is one for the books here in Dallas. The dang ghost just won't leave us alone, here's what I got; bed bugs, pipe under our sink broke, member walked into our house and starting preaching deep doctrine, had to sing in church and henry the cat is missing :'(
Besides all these shenanigans, this week was still pretty decent. I finally got my flight information to Paraguay so it sounds pretty legit this time. I'm supposed to be leaving next sunday at 8 am and will be arriving in Paraguay at 6 am the following morning, so yeah, wish me luck lol.
As far as work went this week, it was good! Due to the pandemic a lot of people stopped going to church so we've been focusing a lot of our efforts on reactivating. We've gotten really close with this one family who has 6 kids under the age of 13 so as you can imagine, it feels a lot like home. One of their daughters, Ozma, won't let me leave until I read a chapter of the children's book of mormon with her in both spanish and English whenever we stop by & it's the sweetest thing haha, I love them a ton.
On Wednesday I had exchanges and I was leading the Casa Linda Area once more in spanish, it actually went pretty well. We found two new people that day so after that experience all I can say is the gift of tongues is very, very real everybody. I've also had the opportunity to be teaching a few english classes and those have been really fun and a great learning experience.
It's pretty hard leaving Dallas, as funny as that still sounds to me it's very true. It's not the easiest to articulate how I feel about the people i've met and the testimony I've gained while serving the lord here. I've re-written this paragaph a few times and I still can't really get it right. At least I know what it'll be like leaving a mission so I can better appreciate to be "in the moment" down in Paraguay. Onto the next chapter!
I really hope y'all are enjoying yourselves even in these tough times. I'd really love to hear from any of you so don't think twice about reaching out!
Remember to stay safe and don't forget to "consider the lillies"
Con muchÃsimo amor,
Elder Fuell
