Que tal mocorongos
Mba'ia la port'e
This week was full of a lot of different moments that were pretty sweet, probably the coolest opportunity I had was to baptize a friend of ours who was an excommunicated member. Over the past few months we've been able to develop a super great friendship and out of nowhere he told us he was ready to be baptized again and I was unbelievably ecstatic. The water was uncomfortably frigid but it was a very incredible experience nonetheless. Goes to show what being a friend can do.
Other than than this, it was a pretty normal week full of hard work. As for strange things, they are there, here's what Paraguay threw my way; a lady gave us spaghetti w only hard boiled eggs and a full onion, unsuccessful brownies, smacked a rooster that was trying to steal my lunch & consequently had that same rooster named after me, got a pepper in my eye cooking pasta, caught another frog & had to calm a member down because she was convinced that satan cursed her rice but she actually just took ibuprofen without eating any food so she had some nasuea haha. "Yo se quien esta haciendo estas cosas, es el otro!"
I've truly never been happier here in paraguay, covered in red sand 24/7 talking about Jesus and the Bible.
If you wanna talk today, reach out! I'd love to talk. Have an epic week!
Con muchísimo amor,

Hola hola
This week was pretty solid, felt pretty normal with a lot of work. There were a fair amount of miracles but a lot of it just feels like a blur haha
Weve been working a lot with our members who are addicts of some classification so we started an addiction class which has been paying off immensely. Two of the members haven't smoked or drank in three weeks and an investigator is currently on date for baptism who hasn't smoked in about a month, its super rewarding seeing the progress of all of them.
The language studies were nuts this week, just about everyday we were studying something different, i didn't think that there could be this much diversity in the middle of south America but i'm proven wrong. We have a japanese friend who only speaks portuguese and a little japanese so he's been teaching us phrases here and there in japanese haha its been sweet.
Other than this, not much happened but there were still a few moments that were fire; i held a mattress on the roof of a taxi from falling off and hitting the cars behind us, king of spikeball, a man told us he has secret knowledge that the US is planning on stealing all of Russia in a couple weeks, accidentally killed a bird, got some new guys in the apartment & a few covid scares.
Hope you all have, and had, a great week!
Here's a scripture in guarani, because i know you asked, "Upévare, peñemotenondeva'erã ñemova'yme Cristo-pe, peguerekóvo peteí ñeha'arõporã mimbi, ha mborayhu Tupãre ha mayma yvypórare. Upévare, pehóramo tenonde gotyo, pende rorývo Cristo ñe'éme, ha peñeha'ambaitéramo ipahaite peve, péina ápe, péicha he'i pe tuva: Pehupytýta tekove opave'ýva" 2 nephi 31:20
Con muchisimo amor,
Elder Gasolina
