 Haupei a todos

Good week this one; found 5 news, working hard, ate a lot of ramen, had a homeless guy paint a pic of me for 2 cents, conquered yet another lomipizza aaaand that's about it. Every day just kinda feels the same here so there's really not too much to report haha, but we're doing great and the languages are all coming along fairly well.

I dont have a lot of time to talk but I hope everybody is doing well and having a very incredible summer! If you'd like to reach out, don't hesitate!

Hello mis queridos bellezas

This week was a pretty fun one, there were plenty of miracles to go around even though a lot of our members were deciding to leave all of our messages on read.

The work here is moving forward and it's been a blast being the senior comp for the first time. It's really been making me push myself in all aspects of the work and it's been some of the best days of my mission. My companion and I have been having the best time bc we're seriously the same person so we're always having a blast boolin around the guay.

This week we conquered the lomipizza, somebody with schizophrenia tried touching my companions nalgas, lost a cockroach in the house, almost burned down the apartment and made friends with a goat we found in the street, epic!

Miss you all, email me if you wanna talk!

What's whippin snag man

Arrived in my new area this week and it's been super epic. My new companion is from Pleasant Grove and we're literally the same person. The more time goes on we just keep realizing we are more and more alike and it's been an absolute blast. Both of us broke our left collarbones, love sports, Tyler, and have the same sense of humor. He also used to grind video and photography in high school so it's been fresh.

As for the work, it's been sweet. I've been leading the area for the first time in my mission and it's new for me to lead the lessons in spanish, but it's been really making me push myself and get out of my comfort zone and the work has been fire here in Luque. We've already been able to reactivate 4 less actives and find 4 new people just this week, it's been a great time.

This area is a lot more in the city than PJC so it's been kinda wacky seeing tall buildings and paved roads again haha, we've just been partying it up in the guay.

There were a lot of weird things that happened this week but I'd say the most noteworthy would probably be getting chased by a drunk japanese guy in the rain

Hope you all have a great week! and I have a little bit of time today so if you wanna talk, reach out!

I don't have a ton of time to write today but a few things happened this week and they make me feel certain ways;

I got the news that I'm being transferred last night to Luque which is pretty close to the main city Asuncion and I'll be with another guy from Pleasant Grove who looks like he could be my brother, so i'm sure it'll be a blast.

I'll miss my dear pedro juan caballero immensely, these last 5 months here have been nothing short of incredible. Sadly there won't be any portuguese in my new area which stinks because I actually felt like i was starting to progress in the language, time to start grinding guarani. I'm also missing out on our baptism that we had planned this next week which blows.

As for the week, it was really cold and paraguayos dont leave their houses when its below 40 so there were a lot of cancelations.

Talk to you all next week and feliz dia de padre a todos los padres!!

Also im getting on an 8 hour bus ride tonight wooo

Hola Bellezas

This week was a pretty funny one, lots of little wacky things happened but for the most part we were just grinding, and it went by oh so fast.

Because I'm on the other side of the equator its technically winter here so it's been getting down to 50 degrees and ive been frigid. There has also been more rain than ive seen in my life so I spent the majority of the week walking in rivers/mud & the thing that stinks about rain here is our clothes dont dry after we wash them for like 3 days because it's unbelievably humid, It's pretty unlucky haha.

The biggest news this week is that we now have a kitten named hermana granger. We found her in the middle of a rainstorm the other night and I'm not bouta let a kitten die so we took her in and we've yet to find someone to take her so it's looking like she might be staying. She's very cute, likes to play with my sandals & I also think I'm allergic, whoops.

As for the work, it's been better than ever. Our investigator miguel will be baptized in a couple weeks so we've been working with him and i'm incredibly excited, he told us he wants to serve a mission so it looks like in a year I'll be able to go to the temple with him before ending my mission and I already can't wait.

There were also a fair share of moments that were pretty epic; walked 12 kilometers for some venezuelan food, there was a cat on our roof, had a spider bite that some lady told me to put hand sanitizer and garlic on it and to my surprise, it was cured (pictured below) & I also held a conversation in portuguese 😗😗 solid week!!

I hope you all have an incredible week and are all enjoying your summer!

Con muchisimo amor,

Elder Fuell
